Family Susic lives everyday Bosnian story. Father Muhamed (63) is employed in a reputable company; mother Marija (60) is retired. Son Sasa (35), who spent the war in Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, lives with his parents, while their daughter Senada (40) lives in Slovenia. Their life begins to fall apart because of father's dissatisfaction after his company is sold on the stock exchange, Sasa's negligent attitude towards work and family, Marija's breast cancer diagnose. When problems begin to line up Muhamed and Sasa realize that actually only family is important, that it is man's last oasis

Bob Tearman (Bob Mann) is 42 with a bullet. No wife, no kids. Zero accomplishments. His life has not turned out the way he thought it would. Park Life immerses the viewer in a version of retirement unlike anything seen in the West. Elderly ravers cutting loose to pounding techno, mass maraca troupes trancing in unison. The antics of China's urban retirees are truly uplifting to watch. But in a place where social harmony and self censorship reign supreme, this frenzy of eccentricity and self proclaimed happiness builds to unsettling crescendo. By letting the characters and the edits tell the story, Park Life is an upbeat but ultimately melancholic celebration of relative freedom in China's 'harmonious society'.
